SaMo PRIDE will be returning this year to celebrate the inclusive and diverse spirit of Santa Monica.
SaMo PRIDE kicks off on Saturday, June 3rd and reoccurs throughout the month of June with a PRIDE Festival that will turn the entire downtown district, from Third Street Promenade through Santa Monica Place to the Santa Monica Pier, into a party zone. All ages are welcome to enjoy musical performances, PRIDE-related treats, free swag, games, and much more.
Colorful photo booth installations, dubbed Colors of PRIDE, will be placed throughout downtown with fun, interactive props. Photos from the installations will be assembled to create a photographic mosaic, bringing the three districts together in a rainbow of colors that make up the LGBTQ+ Progress PRIDE flag.
A family zone located at Santa Monica Place will provide kid-friendly PRIDE programming and an engaging place for kids to play and learn about queer history.
